We are a theatrical dance group made up of every day people, who volunteer to bring fun, laughter and most importantly dance and imagination to our communities. We are devoted to helping those who cannot help themselves, by providing entertainment and assisting in raising funds for various charities. Our goal is when you are tapping your toes along with our dance, you will find the little witch that is within us all.

Established in 2023, Witches Along the Hudson draws inspiration from the German dance troupe, Wolfshäger Hexenbrut, who’s groundbreaking performances helped inspire dance troupes around the world. That spirit of shared celebration and community is what continues to guide and energize what we do today.

Witches Along the Hudson is available year-round for festivals, community events, holiday celebrations, parades, and special occasions throughout the Hudson Valley and Capital District. Through theatrical dance and entertainment, we strive to bring joy, laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories to audiences of all ages.

Do you love creativity, performance, teamwork, community events, and bringing smiles to peoples faces? Does the idea of becoming part of a theatrical witchy dance and entertainment troupe sound exciting to you? Then Witches Along the Hudson just might be the place for you!

We are a year round theatrical dance and entertainment group serving the Hudson Valley and Capital District, with fall being our busiest and most active season.

While we use the “witch” character and aesthetic as part of our performances and storytelling, we are not a coven, religion, or political organization. Every member’s personal beliefs and backgrounds are their own, and we strive to maintain an inclusive, respectful, drama-free environment focused on creativity, teamwork, entertainment, and community involvement.

Being part of Witches Along the Hudson is about more than dancing. While performers are an important part of the group, we also encourage members to help in multiple ways, including: vending, crafting, tent support, photography, videography, costuming and set up, donations and fundraising support, general teamwork and group assistance.

We believe every member contributes in their own way toward helping the group and helping us make a positive difference within our communities.

Please note that our group performs and participates in events throughout all seasons regardless of temperatures.
